Another partner to access Świnoujście Offshore Terminal. ORLEN Neptun secures new contract

ORLEN Neptun has signed another contract expanding the use of its offshore wind farm installation terminal in Świnoujście. The contract with Smulders, responsible for the manufacture of suspended internal platforms to be installed inside the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm, provides for the storage and assembly of steel components at the ORLEN Group’s terminal in Świnoujście, Province of Szczecin. This deal follows an earlier contract with Ocean Winds for the BC-Wind project. The Świnoujście Offshore Terminal is establishing itself as the Baltic region’s principal hub for offshore wind installations, ultimately capable of handling the assembly of several dozen turbines annually.

Offshore wind will not only power households, transportation, businesses with clean and stable energy, but will also support the development of new areas of industry. It is from the Świnoujście Offshore Terminal that we will implement future offshore wind projects, in which the share of Polish capital will be nearly half.

The installation terminal for offshore wind farms in Świnoujście is under construction. Work is proceeding according to plan

Construction of the Świnoujście Offshore Terminal is underway. In recent months, the harbor basin has been cleared, the necessary demolition work has been carried out, the substructure has been prepared and the construction of the buildings has begun. Work continues on preparing the quays. ORLEN Neptun's investment will be launched in 2025, and will be the first terminal of its kind in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe.
