Rafał Żendarski
President of the Management Board
Manager with more than 25 years of experience in maritime operations and in state-owned companies developing offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea.
For over 20 years, he gained international experience in the oil and gas exploration sector, obtaining the highest professional maritime qualifications and serving as Master on various types of vessels.
In 2020, he decided to conclude his career at sea and joined PGE Baltica as Senior Port and Marine Logistics Manager, where he was responsible for developing operational requirements for offshore wind farms and preparing the infrastructure needed for their construction.
In January 2025, he joined ORLEN Neptun as Head of Marine Operations, leading a team responsible for developing transportation and installation strategies for offshore wind farm components, conducting vessel inspections, and establishing procedures for marine operations.
In March 2025, he became part of the team delivering Baltic Power, the first Polish offshore wind farm, as Deputy Construction Package Manager. In this role, he is responsible for activities related to the day-to-day operational support of Baltic Power installations from the port of Łeba, vessel inspections, and liaison with maritime administration authorities.
He holds an MSc in Marine Navigation from the Maritime University of Gdynia, specializing in Maritime Transport. He also completed postgraduate studies in Offshore Wind Energy at Gdańsk University of Technology and earned an MBA in Energy and Climate Policy Management from Civitas University (formerly Collegium Civitas) in Warsaw.
Joanna Sasak
Member of the Management Board
Joanna Sasak is an accomplished finance executive with over 20 years of experience across strategic sectors including energy, fuels, aviation, and telecommunications.
She brings 13 years of extensive expertise in the energy industry. During her time at the RWE Group (2003–2012), she held various senior positions, including in investment management, asset management, and energy and gas procurement. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Management Board Member at AXPO Polska, a subsidiary of the Swiss-based AXPO Group, where she oversaw finance, corporate control, tax, treasury, and internal audit functions. Previously, she was Vice President of the Management Board of Orlen Aviation from 2013 to 2018, where she was responsible for the comprehensive financial management of this ORLEN Group subsidiary.
She holds an International MBA and multiple degrees in finance, management, psychology, and business leadership, earned at prestigious institutions including St. Gallen Business School in Switzerland, Kraków University of Economics, the University of Warsaw, and Warsaw University of Technology.
Sebastian Wionczek
Managing Director
Over twenty-five years of experience in heavy lifting and heavy transport, logistics and port transshipment for O&G and offshore/onshore wind projects.
He started his career as a port worker and gained his expert knowledge and management experience on projects run by: BP UK, Shell UK, Chevron Kazakhstan, Sarens Polska/NV, FairWind DE and SGRE. He has been working in managerial positions for over fifteen years.
A graduate of postgraduate studies in Project Management at the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski University of Business and Administration, he has completed th Executive MBA course and courses in the field of port/transshipment infrastructure management.
